According to a CNET report, Sony Electronics will soon begin selling two hard-drive music players this fall which, combined with its new Connect music download service, will hopefully introduce fresh competition to the media devices market.
The devices will apparently use Sony’s ATRAC3 music format but will also have the added advantage of being able to play MP3, WAV and WMA audio formats.
