If you’re using Outlook Express and have it configured to connect to an IMAP server, occasionally you may see the following error message ‘Message is no longer available on the server’. To correct this problem follow the steps listed below:
1. In Outlook Express, display your folder list for the respective IMAP email account
2. Right click on the folder where the message was stored.
3. Select Properties
4. Click the Local File tab and the click Delete. Click on Yes to confirm.
5. Click OK
6. Close Outlook Express and open it again. Click on the IMAP email account. You should now be able to view the message that previously displayed the error message.
