Microsoft has released Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 for preview. A large number of the enhancements are so long overdue that it’s almost pointless to flout the additions as Internet Explorer enhancements. Nevertheless, if you’d like to try the program you can download the preview version from the IE 7 site.
Update:
If you were testing Internet Explorer 7 Beta 1, you may have had trouble logging in to certain Intranet sites powered by Oracle’s portal solution. This problem appears to be fixed with the latest Beta 2 version.
Overall IE7 is ok, except the lack of ftp:// usage anymore.
Maybe that’s for the final release.
