Windows 7 Admin Mode

A nice tip from Paul Thurrott regarding a hidden feature in Windows 7. In essence, following the instructions below provides you with an easy way to update a number of settings in Windows 7.

To enable it:

  1. Create a new folder on your desktop (i.e. Right-click and click on New Folder).
  2. Right-click on the folder and click on Rename
  3. Copy and paste the following as the file name:SuperAdmin.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

    (As a side note, you can replace SuperAdmin with any other word of your choice)
  4. Double click on the folder and you should see the following list of choices:
